Our Parish and Church
At Christ the King Catholic High School, our Catholic faith is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to be part of the Parish of St John XXIII, Preston, and value the close relationship between our school and our parish community.
Our faith brings us together as a community, guiding us to live out the teachings of Jesus Christ through prayer, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and service to others. We encourage our pupils to grow not only in their learning, but also in their faith, understanding and love for one another.
We are very fortunate to work closely with our Parish Priest, Father Daniel Etienne, who plays an important role in the spiritual life of our school. Father Etienne regularly visits Christ the King to celebrate Mass with our school community, giving pupils and staff opportunities to come together in prayer, worship and reflection. His ongoing support and involvement help strengthen the links between the school, the parish and our wider Catholic community.
Through our partnership with the parish, we aim to nurture our pupils' faith and help them understand the importance of living according to Gospel values, putting our faith into action and following Christ's example in our daily lives.
Our school and parish share a common mission: to support our young people as they grow into caring, responsible and compassionate individuals, guided by their faith and inspired by the love of God.
