Following on from his successful contribution to the Christ the King Under 15 Cricket Team who last year became Preston champions and his then signing for Fulwood and Broughton Cricket Club Senior 1st Team Usman was invited to attend the cricket trials for Lancashire Under 17s.
He was successful in his trial and his debut match will be on Tuesday, 23rd June against Yorkshire at Southport Cricket Club.
Mr Taylor, Head of PE at Christ the King said, “Usman is a fantastic student and cricket. This achievement is outstanding, we are all really proud of him”.
