Students and staff at Christ the King Catholic High School are celebrating being the first Preston Secondary School to achieve the prestigious Silver School Games Mark.
This is a credit to their commitment to, engagement in, and delivery of competitive school sport for 2015-2016.
The students have had a year full of achievements in cricket, badminton, rounders and table tennis to name but a few. They have also celebrated in style with Preston’s own professional boxer Scott Fitzgerald at our annual Sports Awards.
This year, students can’t wait to show off their new kit in the Preston Leagues and they aim to keep putting Christ the King on the map for sporting success.
The celebrations continue with the school’s best ever GCSE Physical Education results of 85% A*-C. Staff could not be more proud of their students’ achievements and aim to continue school sporting success with the Gold Sports Mark in 2017.
