On Monday 18th May all Year 8 girls visited Training 2000 in Blackburn to take part in the ‘Girls Allowed in Engineering’ activity. The girls received information on STEM related careers. They also had the opportunity to try engaging activities that they wouldn’t normally think of trying, the purpose to challenge stereotypes and raise their aspirations in Engineering and STEM careers.
